My heart is heavy
My eyes filled with tears
My head is filled with lies
You told me.

The dreams that I once had
Been put on hold.
All because you told me you loved me.
All because I trusted you
All because you said all the right things

You told me to let you love me.
You told me to trust you.
You told me to let you lead the way.
You told me to take your hand.
Now I have nothing.

What do I have?
I have job that don't pay well.
Bills I cannot pay.
Debt I will carry to my grave.
A heart that will probably never trust
A heart that wants love But can't.
